In one of my earlier posts I talked about how Vista Home Premium (VHP) users can now enjoy full RDP (Remote Desktop) functionality thanks to a nice little hack by TheGreenButton forum member 'scuffs'. Unfortunately, my initial testing proved unsuccessful with RDP Mobile (WM6). The mistake I made was entering my login details into the RDP app itself. This is what was causing the errors. So, the moral of today's how-to is this: Simply enter the server name/ip and nothing else to get RDP Mobile to connect to VHP. Then, when prompted, enter your user details and away you go. If you've used the batch file mentioned in the earlier post, you'll be able to enable multiuser sessions and allow users to have blank passwords :)
